Construction & demolition(C&D) activities, generate huge quantities of waste materials. A significant portion of this material often ends up in landfills or remains unused. To address this challenge, the present study investigates the potential for reusing C&D waste (C&DW) materials in construction projects by exploring two key research questions: (i) How do stakeholder perceptions influence the adoption of recycled C&DW products (ii) What are the most critical factors that facilitate successful implementation of these materials Therefore, the current study focuses on the (i)perspectives of various stakeholders (clients, architects, contractors, and engineers) regarding the usage of C&DW products (ii)identify and prioritize factors influencing their effective adoption. Data were collected using structured questionnaires distributed across stakeholders. Statistical tests, including ANOVA, were conducted to identify significant intergroup differences. Additionally, the factors for successful usage of C&DW products in construction are analyzed using Sscore factor. The results reveal (i) There exists high variation in adoption priority (p = 1.04e-34) and unequal exposure or compliance with policy enforcement (p = 1.22e-76). (ii)Quality of recycled C&D materials (S-factor = 64.72) and an efficient supply chain (S-factor = 64.16) are top priorities for stakeholders, with awareness initiatives (S-factor = 62.88) also essential to drive acceptance and informed usage of recycled materials. The novelty of this study lies in combining stakeholder analysis with factor prioritization to inform both policy and practice. These findings provide, actionable guidance to enhance industry-wide adoption of recycled C&D materials.
