dc.description.abstractAs part of my MBA program, I interned with the Jewellery Design Council of India, JDCI, as a marketing analyst for their prestigious, highly awaited annual Designers of India, DOI Awards. During this internship, majorly, my role was targeted toward increasing the brand marketing for this event. I was involved in the development and execution of marketing strategies aimed at increasing the visibility of awards both online and off. I optimized promotional campaigns with my inputs on market trends and audience engagement, and this really helped the event’s outreach. In addition, I was responsible for handling participant data, ensuring that submissions, registrations, and communication with the participants are properly monitored in a way that was orderly; this called for attention to detail and knowledge in data management tools for smooth coordination between participants and organizers. The other major aspects of my job were in the sphere of event flow assistance. I worked very closely with the event management team, supplying them with a few inputs and ideas to make the structure of the event. I will recommend scheduling, logistics, and the whole experience in general such that it is more engaging and efficient to the attendees, participants, and judges.
