From Passion to Travel Stories: An Entrepreneurial Journey of Mindflix Holidays

Abstract

This dissertation explores my internship experience at Mindflix Holidays, a growing travel startup in India, to understand the entrepreneurial journey of building and managing a service-based venture in the tourism industry. Over a 12-week period, I worked across operations, sales, marketing, and client handling, gaining first-hand exposure to itinerary planning, vendor coordination, and customer relationship management. The study combines practical insights with academic analysis, including global and Indian tourism trends, SWOT and PESTLE evaluations, and a review of recent research on sustainability, technology, and entrepreneurship in tourism. Through this experiential learning, the dissertation highlights how startups like Mindflix Holidays rely on innovation, adaptability, and customer-centric strategies to create value in a competitive travel market, while also shaping my personal growth as a future entrepreneur.
