Abstract
Every company must invest across the value chain, when possible, to develop world-class
competitive competence in each of the companies in its portfolio in an environment where
competitive challenges are fast growing. Due to these strategic interventions, traditional
organisations have gradually evolved into ones that are globally competitive and prioritise
providing superior value to all stakeholders.
To effectively address growth issues in the rapidly globalising Indian markets, every firm in the
portfolio is always working to improve its competitive skills. The goal of any firm seems to be to
develop a distinctive business model that will increase not just its own business's but also the
value chain it is a member of its ability to compete internationally. This has increased the
complexity of how each organisation functions compared to earlier times.
It is essential to use a systematic and organised strategy in order to handle this complexity
difficulty. It takes a lot of time and money. All of these factors contribute to the formation of a
modern organisational model that focuses on defining and organising the work to be done,
assigning responsibility and authority, and, finally, developing relationships to allow people to
collaborate most effectively in achieving goals.
