dc.description.abstract | During my two-month internship at Devi Enterprises, which took place from June 1st to June 30th, I played a vital role in the Sales and Business Development department. My primary responsibility was to enhance sales and foster the growth of the business, with a particular focus on Parle biscuit products. Devi Enterprises operates as an authorized distributor of Parle products in the biscuits category, serving both wholesalers and retailers. My internship involved guiding and coordinating the efforts of the sales team, with the aim of expanding our customer base among wholesalers and retailers. I actively engaged with our sales force, providing them with insights and strategies to effectively connect with potential clients and persuade them to purchase Parle biscuits in larger quantities. The main goal was to boost sales figures while contributing to the overall growth and success of Devi Enterprises. The company's team consists of approximately 20-25 dedicated employees, encompassing sales personnel, managers, accountants, and a warehouse manager responsible for overseeing stock and inventory at our Vikhroli warehouse. I also had the privilege of participating in company meetings and events, gaining valuable insights into the inner workings of sales operations and witnessing firsthand how sales professionals strive to achieve the best results for the company.
