Abstract
The research paper aims to investigate the implementation, impact, and stakeholder response to Interface's Mission Zero Initiative and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). Interface, a global flooring manufacturer, launched the Mission Zero Initiative with the goal of achieving complete sustainability by 2020. EPDs are standardized documents that provide transparent information about a product's environmental impact. This study examines the extent to which the Mission Zero Initiative has been implemented, evaluates its impact on Interface's sustainability performance, and explores the response of stakeholders to the initiative and EPDs. The research methodology includes a comprehensive literature review, data collection through analysis of both qualitative and quantitative data. The findings shed light on the effectiveness of the Mission Zero Initiative and provide insights into stakeholder perceptions and behaviors. The research also highlights the limitations of the initiative and proposes recommendations for future improvements. Overall, this study contributes to the understanding of sustainability initiatives in the manufacturing industry and their impact on stakeholders.
